Part-time Cleaning Techs Needed!!

We are experiencing significant growth. We are a fast growing and highly rated cleaning services company. Due to recent growth in the area we are in need of Part-time Cleaning Techs to help with cleaning newly acquired customer accounts. Help currently needed in the following areas:


*New Castle County, DE

*Chester County, PA

*Montgomery County, PA


These are day and evening positions that service residential and commercial clients. Looking for detailed individuals that take pride in a job well done.

  • Must have own transportation and be very reliable (not public transportation).
  • Have a working cell phone and email at all times
  • Physically capable of bending, crouching, reaching, and other basic physical activities
  • Be willing to WORK
  • Trustworthy and capable of working under relaxed supervision
  • Experience not required, but must be coachable and eager to learn

Job duties include:

  • Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them.
  • Gather and empty trash.
  • Service, clean, and supply restrooms.
  • Clean and polish furniture and fixtures.
  • Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees.
  • Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment.
  • Mix water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications.
  • **Steam-clean or shampoo carpets. **
  • **Strip, seal, finish, and polish floors. **
  • Clean laboratory equipment, such as glassware and metal instruments, using solvents, brushes, rags.
  • Drive vehicles required to perform or travel to cleaning work, including vans, industrial trucks, or industrial vacuum cleaners.
  • Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment, in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
  • Monitor building security and safety by performing such tasks as locking doors after operating hours and checking electrical appliance use to ensure that hazards are not created.

 

**Extra $$’s can be made by helping with special cleaning projects and having floor machinery equipment experience (stripping/waxing VCT, carpet cleaning, etc.) is a definite plus. **

Job Requirements:

Physical Demands:

  • Work is performed while standing, sitting and/or walking.
  • Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision and hearing.
  • Requires the use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.
  • Requires bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, reaching.
  • Requires the ability to lift, carry, push or pull
  • Requires activities involving being around moving machinery, exposure to marked changes in temperature and humidity, and exposure to dust, fumes and gases.


Compensation: Pay rate is $14.00 to start. Could go high after solid performance

Employment Type: Part-time to start may go to full time
